You deserve to feel your best in remission.

I should know…
I was diagnosed in 2008 with Ulcerative Colitis and spent years in and out of a flare. Even in remission, I struggled with intense brain fog and fatigue.
I chugged cups and cups of coffee just to stay awake each day. I had trouble focusing and retaining information. I was constantly bloated and felt like no matter what I did I never felt fully well.

What I found…
I began exploring the power of nutrition and stress management and the effect it has on my health (and yours too!).
Once I discovered the foods and workouts that work best for me in IBD remission, as well as how to manage stress and anxiety, I felt more confident in my body and had less frequent flares.
I created a 1:1 health coaching program for Crohn’s and Colitis warriors in remission who…
- want to stay in remission
- are tired of feeling anxious every time a symptom pops up
- are ready to start exercising again
- want to conquer their fatigue and feel more energetic

A little about me
I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2008, as a freshman in college. It really cramped my style! For years, I ignored my diagnosis completely and was considered a “frequent flyer” at the local hospital. While this did get me the best Jello from the nurses, I was sleepwalking through life. One day I decided to take control of my health and reclaim my life. I spent years researching and experimenting with the best ways to live my most vibrant and fabulous life with a chronic health condition.
I am beyond excited to share with you the same tools and techniques I used to get myself off the “frequent flyer” list at the hospital and reclaim my life.
What my clients are saying…
I had debated on whether or not a coach was the right idea for a long time, but then I found Holly and we clicked right away! The unpredictability of Crohns does not always jive well with my active lifestyle. I have spent years pushing through signs and symptoms, contributing to even more symptoms, pain, and stress. Holly gave me a safe space to take a step back, gain some perspective, and make healthier choices. This has resulted in better relationships with my illness, exercise, myself, and the people in my life most important to me.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when signing up for 1:1 coaching but I’m so glad I did! You helped changed the way I view food and my relationship with food has vastly improved! There was a time, not that long ago, that I was in and out of severe flares and I had a very unhealthy relationship with food. And that has completely changed and more so with your help. I’m eating things I wasn’t sure I’d be able to eat again and I’ve continued to be symptom free. The weight loss was an added bonus to the overall improvement in how I feel throughout the day; I have more energy, I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time, I even ran at the gym!

I think some of the biggest changes I’ve made in the three months that we worked together would be my diet as well as my mentality. I’ve learned to be kind to my body and listen to what it needs instead of fighting against that and feeling bad about myself when I inevitably can’t always do the things that I want. I’ve learned more about what foods I can tolerate as well as new recipes to try that work for me. It’s been such a big help to get guidance as I navigate such a daunting diagnosis!

Holly is very kind, open, and transparent about her own wellness journey which makes her advice practical and her understanding genuine. I appreciate her ability to meet me where I’m at and help me make tangible goals that are not too daunting.

Holly was really attentive and considerate. She listened to my story and how my past trauma is linked to my eating habits. Holly provided strategies that are practical and within reach. I’m excited to see results. I would definitely recommend Holly for your health and fitness needs.
