Hi y’all, I’m Holly!
I am a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. I created Colitiscope Nutrition because I know the struggle of living with Crohn’s and Colitis (let me tell ya…the struggle is REAL). I have always lived an active life through running, working out, and traveling, and I refuse to let my disease define me and hold me back.
What’s my story?
I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2008, the summer after my freshman year of college. At the time, I felt like my diagnosis was the end of the world. I was hospitalized 6 times in the span of 5 years and was affectionately referred to as the “frequent flyer” by the hospital nurses.
Here is where it all began to change…
In 2013, I decided to change my diet to see if it would improve my health. Once I made nutrition a priority, the flare-ups became more infrequent and less severe, and I was able to reclaim my quality of life again.
I now teach my clients how they can turn their health around through nutrition, exercise, stress management, and mindset.
