I have had Ulcerative Colitis since 2008 and love exercising–its one of my favorite things. Every time I recover from a flare-up, I always jump right back into my workout routine and always end up in another flare-up. Marathon–>flare-up. Crossfit–>flare-up–>Crossfit–>flare-up. You get the idea 🙂
I have tried every form of workout possible and find that the cookie-cutter workouts just don’t work for me when I am recovering from a flare-up.
